Create Your Own Screen Printed Tote Bag (or T-Shirt) & Pillowcase!

Our Kids Screen Printing Workshop is back again these school holidays—refined, reworked and better than ever.

This has been one of our most popular workshops for years, and each time we run it, we make small changes to improve the flow of the day, reduce the chaos (for everyone!) and help kids create pieces they’re really proud to take home.

In this full-day, hands-on workshop, kids will work across two different projects.

In the morning, they’ll design and print onto a tote bag (supplied) or a BYO t-shirt or hoodie, creating a bold, wearable piece.

In the afternoon, they’ll move on to a second project—printing onto a pillowcase (supplied), giving them the chance to explore a different layout, scale and approach.

Each child will complete two finished pieces across the day.

We’ll be using a range of pre-prepared screens and carefully considered colour palettes to guide the process, allowing kids to focus on composition, placement and creative decision-making—without the frustration of complicated prep.

This workshop is perfect for both first-time printers and returning students. If your child has joined us before, they’ll love working with new designs and fresh ideas, while building on what they already know.

What they will learn:

• How screen printing works using pre-prepared screens
• How to plan and place designs on different textile surfaces
• How to apply ink using a squeegee
• How to build a balanced, thoughtful design

What to Bring:

👕 (optional) A plain t-shirt and or a cotton hoodie or sweatshirt to print on (natural fibres work best, pre-washed for best results)
🥪 A packed lunch, snacks, and a water bottle
🚫 Please avoid sending foods containing nuts
🩳 Wear old clothes—things might get messy!

✅ Parents must drop off & pick up children in person and complete a short admission form on arrival

Cancellation Policy: Due to the seasonal nature of this workshop it can not be cancelled or rescheduled. You are welcome to send someone else in your place if you can't make it on the day. In most of our workshops we require a minimum number of people to run the workshop and will do our absolute best to run every workshop we list but occasionally it is not commercially feasible to do so. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we may cancel the class; in this case, we'll inform you and allow you to get a full refund or reschedule.
