A hands-on clay workshop where kids create, decorate, and seal their own unique egg tray or dish to take home!

In this creative all-day workshop, kids aged 8–12 will make their own custom egg tray or trinket dish using air-dry clay and vibrant paper napkin designs.

We’ll begin by shaping our trays using air-dry clay and simple moulding techniques. Once they’ve had time to firm up, kids will decorate their pieces using beautiful patterned designs and finish them with a glossy seal — ready to take home, display or gift.

This process is surprisingly simple but deeply satisfying — the results are bright, fun, and ready to display, gift, or use as a keepsake. No messy paints, no resin — just creative hands-on fun with a polished finish.

Kids will go home with a completed, sealed tray they made entirely themselves — plus the skills to do it again with materials at home!

What To Bring

Please avoid foods containing nuts or other common allergens (as a courtesy to other participants).

Who It’s For

Perfect for kids aged 8–12. No prior experience needed – just a love of making! All materials provided.

Please note this class is not suitable for children under 8 years old or those in Years K–2, as the activities involve fine motor skills and fiddly techniques that younger children often find too challenging.

Cancellation Policy: Due to the seasonal nature of this workshop it can not be cancelled or rescheduled. You are welcome to send someone else in your place if you can't make it on the day. In most of our workshops we require a minimum number of people to run the workshop and will do our absolute best to run every workshop we list but occasionally it is not commercially feasible to do so. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we may cancel the class; in this case, we'll inform you and allow you to get a full refund or reschedule.
