Australian Natives Punch Needle Workshop
Made By Me Workshop

Create a textured punch needle artwork inspired by Australia’s native birds and flowers—slow crafting at its finest.
Spend a calm, creative day immersed in punch needle embroidery, as you create a richly textured artwork inspired by some of Australia’s most beloved native birds and flowers.
In this full-day workshop, you’ll learn how to stretch and mount your own fabric, transfer your design, and master the punch needle technique using premium tools and 100% Australian-grown wool. We’ll show you how to build texture and dimension, from flat areas to sculpted pile, and guide you through finishing ideas to bring your work to life.
Choose from six original designs in our Australian Natives series—each paired with a beautiful, original poem. The available designs include:
– Banksia
– Waratah
– Wattle
– Cockatoo
– Kookaburra
– Rainbow Lorikeet
You’ll be asked to select your design when booking so we can prepare the correct yarn palette for you in advance. Prefer to create something of your own? You’re very welcome to bring a custom design idea instead—just let us know when booking, and we’ll help you bring it to life.
