Kids Workshop in Sydney: Decorate Terracotta Pots and Grow Your Own Garden at Home!

Spring is the perfect time for kids to get creative with colour and nature! In this full-day workshop, they’ll use fluid art techniques to design three vibrant terracotta planters. Each child will also craft matching plant stakes and take home seeds and soil — everything they need to start their own mini garden.

This hands-on class is perfect for kids aged 8–12 (Year 3 and above) who love art, craft, and getting a little messy. Each child will leave with three beautifully decorated planters and matching stakes, plus seeds and soil so they can easily plant at home once their pots are fully dry. Parents will love that kids walk away with pieces that are both creative and functional — projects they’ll continue to enjoy and use well beyond the holiday break.

What Kids Will Learn:

• How to experiment with fluid art paint techniques
• How to shape and decorate their own plant stakes
• How to plant & care for their seeds in their decorated pots

What to Bring:

• A packed lunch, snacks, and a water bottle.
• Please avoid foods containing nuts or other common allergens (as a courtesy to other participants).
• Kids should wear old clothes they don’t mind getting messy.

• Our secure space is only accessible to participants
• All instructors have valid Working with Children Checks
• Parents must drop off and pick up children in person and complete a short admission form

Cancellation Policy

All bookings are final and non-refundable. Rescheduling is allowed with at least 7 days' notice. For rescheduling with less notice, the workshop cost (including Creative Kids Voucher) will be forfeited. Booking value can be applied to another workshop within 6 months.
