Forest Embroidery Workshop with Amy Jones
Made By Me Workshop
Layer rich textures and threads to stitch your own embroidered forest scene.
In this nature-inspired embroidery class, beloved textile artist Amy Jones invites you to explore the quiet beauty of the forest floor—think trees, leafy canopies, and mossy details—all captured through thread.
Building on her previous sold-out classes (Pansy Thread, Jewelled Moss, Rainbow Coral, Scribbly Gum), this workshop introduces a fresh theme for new and returning students alike. You’ll focus on forest-inspired textures using a meditative combination of stitches including long and short stitch and seed stitch.
Amy will guide you through the process of layering hand-dyed wool and fine embroidery thread to create a richly textured landscape. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced stitcher, you’ll leave with a beautiful and personal piece—and everything you need to keep going at home.
