If you love the idea of handmade Christmas decorations, this workshop is for you. Whether you’re new to knitting or a seasoned maker, you’ll find plenty to inspire you in this fun and festive class led by accomplished knitter and crochet artist Lyndell Wright.

You’ll learn to create charming knitted decorations, with patterns suited to every skill level — from easy flat designs to more advanced miniatures knitted in-the-round. Lyndell will guide you through the techniques step-by-step, sharing clever knitting tips and helpful tricks along the way. It’s the perfect way to brush up on your skills, try something new, and create unique decorations you’ll treasure year after year.

What you need to bring with you:

• Yarn in your choice of festive colours (4 ply and/or 8 ply)
• Knitting needles suitable for your yarn
  • 2.75 mm or 3 mm needles for 4 ply yarn
  • 4 mm needles for 8 ply yarn
• For advanced patterns: a set of Double Pointed Needles (DPNs) in the correct size for your yarn

A selection of tools and materials will also be available to use during the workshop.

Led by Lyndell Wright, a professional craftsperson with over five decades of knitting and crocheting experience, her creations have graced the stage and screen and are admired by many. this workshop is guaranteed to ignite your creativity and foster new craft addictions. Whether you're a confident beginner or have some knitting knowledge, Lyndell will provide expert guidance and personalised attention to help you develop your skills.

Cancellation Policy: Due to the limited number of spaces for workshops, all bookings are final and strictly non refundable. We do not refund classes but you are welcome to send someone else in your place if you can't make it on the day. Since Lyndell is a special guest teacher it is not possible to reschedule the workshop to another day. In most of our workshops we require a minimum number of people to run the workshop and will do our absolute best to run every workshop we list but occasionally it is not commercially feasible to do so. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we may cancel the class; in this case, we'll inform you and allow you to get a full refund or reschedule.
