Ready to go beyond the basics? Join our Intermediate Knitting Workshop in Sydney and master knitting in the round using circular needles and the magic loop technique. Led by Lyndell Wright, an expert knitter with over five decades of experience, this hands-on class will help you decode knitting patterns, increase and decrease stitches, and create beautifully seamless projects.

During this workshop, you’ll knit a beanie cap with a rolled brim, a perfect introduction to circular knitting that will give you the confidence to take on more advanced projects like socks, mittens, and sweaters!

Whether you’re looking to refine your technique or expand your knitting skills, this workshop is the perfect next step.

What You'll Learn:

• How to knit in the round using circular needles
• How to use the magic loop method for small projects
• How to increase and decrease stitches for shaping
• How to read and decode a standard knitting pattern

What you need to bring with you:

• 100g of 14-ply knitting yarn (wool or acrylic work best for hats)
• 60cm circular needle with 7mm tips (fixed or interchangeable)

If you don’t have these, kits will be available for purchase.

Cancellation Policy: Due to the limited number of spaces for workshops, all bookings are final and strictly non refundable. We do not refund classes but you are welcome to send someone else in your place if you can't make it on the day. Since Lyndell is a special guest teacher it is not possible to reschedule the workshop to another day. In most of our workshops we require a minimum number of people to run the workshop and will do our absolute best to run every workshop we list but occasionally it is not commercially feasible to do so. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we may cancel the class; in this case, we'll inform you and allow you to get a full refund or reschedule.
