Resin Art Side Table / Stool Workshop
Made By Me WorkshopIf you like your art to be both practical and aesthetically pleasing this is the resin workshop for you. In this workshop you will create your own piece of resin art that will then become a beautiful side table or stool.
We’ll teach you all the tips and techniques you need to create your one of a kind masterpiece. You will learn how to work with epoxy resin, mix your own colours and the techniques required to create your very own resin top piece of furniture.
The workshop typically runs up to three hours and includes a demonstration from Rebecca. The finished resin work will require 24 hours to dry so will need to be collected the following day - postage can be arranged for an additional charge, we will only send the top of the stool, you will need to take the legs home with you on the day of the workshop.
What you get:
Each participant will receive a 40cm round table top and a set of 3 black stainless steel hairpin legs (as pictured) You will need to attach the legs after your resin is fully cured and will need a drill to do this, we will take you through all the steps and everything you need to know to complete this at home or we can assist.
The legs supplied are 41cm tall. If you would prefer to create a higher stool please select 4x72cm legs at the check out for an additional charge of $25.

What you'll need to bring:
Everything you need will be provided including an apron to wear during the workshop. It can get a bit messy so don't dress to impress, if you get resin on your clothes or shoes it won't wash off.
If you have long or flyaway hair, we recommend you bring something to tie it back.
Your stools will need 24 hours to dry, you will need to collect them the following day. Postage can be arranged for an additional charge - we will only post the seats, bases can be taken on the day of the workshop.
Suitable for:
Perfect for beginners with no previous experience or skills required. All that you need is an open mind and a sense of adventure.
We believe craft is as much about creativity as it is about connection, in our workshops you have the opportunity to meet new friends, share a few stories, laugh with each other and simply enjoy some time out for yourself. Class sizes are always kept small so that participants will enjoy hands on assistance while you learn and create.
Since no gathering is complete without a few tasty treats, we will have some snacks on hand, we have tea & coffee making facilities in the studio but you may prefer to pick up a coffee of the barista variety from one of the local cafes.
Please note we run this workshop at the same time as our Resin Art Workshop since the resin processes are the same - perfect if you have a friend who would like to join you but create an artwork instead!
Resin art is not suitable for children, attendees need to be 16 years+ due to undeveloped lungs in children & the nature of toxins in resin. It is also not suitable for pregnant women.
