Luxury Candle Making Workshop

Create 2 large scented candles from soy wax in our luxury candle making workshop!

Join us in our friendly creative space in Newtown for a few hours of fun and creativity while learning everything you need to know to create 2 of your own large beautifully fragrant candles. Choose any combination of our black, white or pink glass candle containers each with its own timber lid and box ready making it a beautiful gift for a loved one and with 2 to take home you can keep one for yourself! Each candle will give you approximately 48 hours burn time.

Rebecca, our Chief Crafting Officer, will take you through all the steps you will need to create your candles from premium soy wax. The workshop will start with an introduction to the fragrance wheel and how to properly scent your candles, you will then select your own scents for each of your candles, the biggest challenge will be narrowing it down from our wide range of fragrances. You will then learn how to calculate the amount of wax needed and select the correct wick for your vessel before pouring your candles.

We pride ourselves on providing quality materials so that you achieve quality outcomes that you are proud to show off to your family and friends. Class sizes are always kept small so that you enjoy hands-on assistance while you learn and create.

Please note the candles need to set for 24 hours so they will need to be collected at another time or can be posted for an additional charge payable on the day.

Our workshops are as much about creativity as they are about connection, in our space you have the opportunity to meet new friends, share a few stories, laugh with each other and simply enjoy some time out for yourself. We have tea & coffee making facilities and always some treats on hand. We are surrounded by great cafes and places to eat if you want to grab something to eat or drink before or after and want to make a day of it. You are always welcome to BYO drinks to your workshop.

Cancellation Policy: You can reschedule your class with up to 3 days notice. We do not refund classes but you are welcome to send someone else in your place if you can't make it on the day. In most of our workshops we require a minimum number of people to run the workshop and will do our absolute best to run every workshop we list but occasionally it is not commercially feasible to do so. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we may cancel the class; in this case, we'll inform you and allow you to get a full refund or reschedule.
