Build, Paint, and Decorate Your Own Birdhouse: A School Holiday Workshop in Inner West Sydney!

Looking for an engaging and creative activity for your child these school holidays? Our Build Your Own Birdhouse Workshop is the perfect hands-on experience for kids aged 8-12! In this fun and educational class, kids will design, build, and decorate their very own birdhouses while developing their crafting and painting skills.

Your child will start by painting flat-lay wooden panels with bold colours and assembling pre-cut pieces to create their birdhouse. They’ll then add the finishing touches, making it a project they’ll be proud to take home.

What Kids Will Learn:

How to sand, prime, and paint wooden panels.
Basic techniques for assembling pre-cut pieces using glue and small nails.
Creative painting techniques, including layering and optional stencilling.

What to Bring:

A packed lunch, snacks, and a water bottle.
Please avoid foods containing nuts or other common allergens (as a courtesy to other participants).

Our space is secure and only accessible to participants.
All instructors have valid Working with Children Checks.
Parents must drop off children in person and complete a short admission form acknowledging participation and safety guidelines.

Cancellation Policy: all bookings are final and strictly non-refundable. However, you can reschedule your class with at least 7 days' notice. Rescheduling with less than 7 days' notice will mean forfeiture of the full workshop cost, including the $50 Creative Kids voucher (if applicable). If future workshop dates or times don't work for you, you can use the value of your booking toward another workshop to use within 6 months.
