Have your favourite jeans or jumper become a bit ‘too’ favourite?

Learn the art of mending and breathe new life into your favorite garments at Cath's mending workshop. In this hands-on workshop, Cath from the Happenstore will teach you the basics of mending using various stitches such as back, blanket, and satin stitch. Whether it's your old jumper or beloved pair of pants that need a little TLC, you'll discover how to turn them into a piece of art!

Bring along a garment that needs some love and we'll provide you with a bundle of indigo hand-dyed fabrics, needles, and yarn to work with. Not only will you learn essential mending techniques, but you'll also get to keep the fabrics, needles, and yarn for future projects.

Throughout the workshop, you'll enjoy a fabulous afternoon tea provided by our Chief Crafting Officer, Head Chef & Bottle Washer Rebecca to keep your creative energy flowing. Trust us, you'll soon discover how addictive, cool, and fun mending can be!

Cancellation Policy: Due to the limited number of spaces for workshops, all bookings are final and strictly non refundable. We do not refund classes but you are welcome to send someone else in your place if you can't make it on the day. Since Cath is a special guest teacher it is not possible to reschedule the workshop to another day. In most of our workshops we require a minimum number of people to run the workshop and will do our absolute best to run every workshop we list but occasionally it is not commercially feasible to do so. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we may cancel the class; in this case, we'll inform you and allow you to get a full refund or reschedule.
