Macrame Planter Basket Workshop

Part plant hanger, part wallhanging and all together gorgeous especially when made by you!

In this workshop you will create a gorgeous macrame planter basket / wall hanging. We’ll teach you the basic principles and techniques of macramé and guide you through the steps to create your masterpiece. You will learn the fundamental macrame knots that once learnt can be used to create many more macrame pieces.

If you're already a plant lover you will know one plant is never enough and that you never have enough places to put them so we cut the length of dowel (that sits at the top of your hanger) long enough for you to add another 1 or 2 macrame baskets either side to create a statement piece for your home. If you're not a plant lover be warned plants are addictive and don't worry, 1 hanger is more that enough (please let me know if you would like a shorter dowel and I will arrange this for you)

This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with some previous macrame experience. We have allowed 4 hours for the workshop to ensure everyone can work at their own pace but some people may complete their hanger in less time.

We believe craft is as much about creativity as it is about connection, in our workshops you have the opportunity to meet new friends, share a few stories, laugh with each other and simply enjoy some time out for yourself. We have tea & coffee making facilities in the studio and always some delicious treat to sustain you through the workshop, we are also surrounded by amazing cafes if you prefer your beverages barista made! Feel free to come with friends and bring a bottle of bubbles - who says it's too early???

What you get:

Everything you need is supplied including our beautiful luxury cotton rope, a piece of wooden dowel as well as written instructions that you can refer to again if you do choose to make more hangers at home.

Cancellation Policy: You can reschedule your class with up to 10 days notice, 24 hours notice if you must COVID-isolate (proof maybe requested) We do not refund classes but you are welcome to send someone else in your place if you can't make it on the day. We reserve the right to cancel classes if minimum numbers are not met in which case we will offer to reschedule or a full refund.
