Kids Macrame Coaster Workshop
Made By Me Workshop

Create a beautiful pair of indigo coloured macrame coasters and learn some great macrame techniques that can be applied to future projects!
In this workshop your child will use beautiful hand painted luxury cotton cord to create a unique pair of coasters. The techniques used are easy to learn and can be applied to bigger future projects like placemats, wallhangings and baskets!
What your child will learn:
- How to measure and cut the cord used to create their coaters
- How to tie the knots required to create the coasters
- How to finish their coasters with a lovely combed out fringe.
We believe craft is as much about creativity as it is about connection, so in our workshops your child will have the opportunity to meet new friends and enjoy learning some new skills away from their screens. Class sizes are always kept small so that they enjoy hands-on assistance while they learn and create.
Parents are also welcome to book into the workshop, otherwise if you want to attend but not participate we have another space where you are welcome to wait, help yourself to tea or coffee and catch up on some reading or your socials. Children are OK to be left unattended, as our space is secure and not open to people who have not booked into a workshop. All teachers have a valid working with children check that can be shown upon request.
