Beginner's Weaving Workshop With Maryanne Moodie

Maryanne Moodie is coming to Sydney and will be teaching her signature weaving workshop for beginners - Excitement is an understatement!!

 G'day Future Weavers! We are thrilled to welcome renowned weaver, artist and all-round amazing Maryanne Moodie to Sydney and to our workshop.

Maryanne is eager to introduce you to her brightly colored yarns and sustainable looms. Maryanne personally designs her looms and tools, creating them in small, sustainable batches. These are wonderful to use, and they will become beloved pieces in your crafting collection.

This workshop is ideal for absolute beginners, anyone needing a refresher or to understand what makes Maryanne's work so remarkable.

Maryanne will also be leading an intermediate class in the afternoon, teaching an array of additional techniques. Maryanne is a superb instructor and can accommodate various skill and confidence levels. Make a day of it and register for both classes!

Throughout the workshop, you'll be treated to a tasty morning tea to keep your creative energy flowing! and if you do decide to stay for the day we will serving a light lunch between classes!

• Dowel to hang your piece from

Cancellation Policy: Due to the limited number of spaces for workshops, all bookings are final and strictly non refundable. We do not refund classes but you are welcome to send someone else in your place if you can't make it on the day or we can send you your class materials and you can access Maryanne’s online course. Since Maryanne is a special guest teacher it is not possible to reschedule the workshop to another day. In most of our workshops we require a minimum number of people to run the workshop and will do our absolute best to run every workshop we list but occasionally it is not commercially feasible to do so. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we may cancel the class; in this case, we'll inform you and allow you to get a full refund or reschedule.
