Take your Resin Art to the next level and create your own one-of-a-kind Resin Pot and matching Trinket Tray.

This year for SYDNEY CRAFT WEEK we explore the idea of PLAY so in this workshop we’ll PLAY with Resin 2 ways; using one of our silicon moulds you will learn the art of resin casting to create your own pot. We will teach you how to mix resin and add pigments to colour your resin. In addition to your moulded pot we will teach you the tricks and techniques to create a resin and timber trinket tray.

Dates:    Sunday 16th February 2020

Time:     10am - 1pm

Venue:    Studio 5.02b / 75 Mary Street, St Peters, 2044

What you get: You will receive a timber tay and will have use of a silicon mould to create your own pot. We will supply you with enough resin, pigment and powders to create your pieces. It can get a bit messy so don't dress to impress - we will provide an apron to use during the workshop.

Your pot & tray will need 24 hours to dry, you will need to collect your piece the following day. Postage can be arranged for an additional charge.

We believe craft is as much about creativity as it is about connection, in our workshops you have the opportunity to meet new friends, share a few stories, laugh with each other and simply enjoy some time out for yourself.

Class sizes are always kept small so that participants will enjoy hands on assistance while you learn and create.

Since no gathering is complete without a few nibbles, we will have some delicious treats to enjoy as well as tea and / or coffee to drink. You may prefer to pick up a coffee from Sample Coffee before the workshop - located in Precinct 75 - entry on Mary street

This class is not recommended for pregnant women as chemicals are used.

Cancellation Policy: no refunds for classes but you are welcome to send someone else in your place if you can't make it on the day.
