Kids Macrame Plant Hanger WorkshopMade By Me Workshop
Create your own Macrame Plant Hanger these school holidays.
Join our Chief Crafting Officer Rebecca, to create your own macrame plant hanger. In this hands on workshop you will learn the basic principles and techniques of macrame and be patiently guided through the steps to create a your plant hanger.
In this workshop Rebecca will demonstrate how to make a single plant hanger as featured in our main photograph, once mastered you will be able to apply your new skills to many more macrame pieces at home.
We will be using natural coloured extra-soft luxury single twist cotton. Our luxurious cotton is ethically made from 100 per cent natural fibres that are dyed with non-toxic tints and certified free of harmful chemicals.
With an opulent buttery sheen you can see and feel, working with this cotton is pure fibre bliss.
We believe craft is as much about creativity as it is about connection, in our workshops your child will have the opportunity to meet new friends and enjoy learning some new skills away from their screens. Our kids workshops are a perfect school activity that will keep your child entertained but also provide new skills that can be applied to future projects to occupy their time and stretch their minds beyond the workshop.
Class sizes are always kept small so that they enjoy hands-on assistance while they learn and create.
Parents are welcome to book into the workshop, otherwise if you want to attend but not participate we have another space where you are welcome to wait, help yourself to tea or coffee and catch up on some reading or your socials. Children are OK to be left unattended, our space is secure and not open to people who have not booked into a workshop. All teachers have a valid working with children check that can be shown upon request.
